Playground 1

There are two side-by side playgrounds at Casey Park. This first of two playgrounds is located nearest the parking lot. Geared more toward toddler and preschool aged children, this is sure to be an easy adventure for your little one! The tree clubhouse has three slides! There is also a set of picnic tables right nearby, as well as a set of infant swings and an adaptive swing. Please note, this area is prone to flooding.

Playground 2

Just a couple paces from the first playground, is a larger playground housing the highest three story tunnel slide around, lookout windows, rainbow slide and a massive rock wall you will have to pull the kids away. Geared for older kids, your pre-teens will even love this one.

The Beach

The highlight of Casey Park in the summer is the free private beach set back behind a splash pad. During summer months when a lifeguard is on duty, you can splash around and cool off on this well maintained beach. For details on the beach and boat rentals, call the information office at (315) 524-7447. No dogs are allowed on the beach.

The Splash Pad

The splash pad is located near the beach and has three spouting fountain animals. It is a hit for young kids and tucked back near the beach under a few mature trees.

The Hiking

There are a variety of trails at this park. If you begin with the story trail behind the playground and take a left instead of looping around the lake, you will find the bird watch shelter and eventually loop back the the playground. Looping around the lake will take you to boardwalks and stairs but can prove to be more challenging.

The Story Trail

The story trail portion of the hiking trail is wide and flat and stroller friendly. If walking this trail with the stroller and young kids, it is recommended you turn around after the story is finished. We love this story trail because not only does it display a darling story for kids but it includes facts and interactive prompts!
