The Charlotte Branch Library is within the Monroe County Library System and has an entire floor dedicated to the Children’s Section. This space has been clearly curated to encourage imaginative and creative play with the number of doll houses, art stations and open ended toys available.

The Building
There is a small parking lot behind the library. Here you can enter through the back doors and take the stairs or elevator up to the 2nd floor where the children’s section is located.
First Floor
The First Floor of the Charlotte Branch Library has a large trainer Chess board. If heading here with young kids, you will be most interested in the second floor but will have to visit the first floor if checking out DVDs from the children’s section.
Second Floor
The second floor of the Charlotte Library is loaded with Play! There is a small room filled with books for kids to flip through as well as stuffed animals and a tunnel!
Continue on to the larger space and you fill find two separate areas for drawing/coloring
A favorite at this library is the large play house and multiple doll houses!
The fun continues with puzzles, Magna-tiles, trucks, animal figurines and much more!
