Greece Recreation Center

This playground/splash pad combo is geared toward younger children and will surely activate the imagination with its outdoor/animal theme. With large fish, beavers and bears to climb on along with a variety of swing types, the playground is suitable for a range of needs and abilities. The play area is fully fenced in with a latching gate. It is nicely padded and very clean and well kept. There are plenty of picnic tables outside of the playground area. Also nearby is a story trail and outdoor workout equipment! This playground is within walking distance of the Greece Community Center and Library. Bring a lunch and have a full day of fun! Note: The playground is free and fenced in but directly adjacent to the splash pad which can be accessed with a fee for non-residents. Therefore, warn your child if you do not plan on spending the $5 as it is definitely a tempting sight in the summer!
Perinton Community Center

If you are looking for a fenced in playground that is impossible to escape- this is the one! From the outside, it may seem exclusive with it being fully gated with a child-proof latch, but it is open to the public! This playground is best suited for older kids with taller slides and climbing/balancing structures. The playground is part of the Perinton Community Center so it may be in use by the programs there. However, there is plenty to do within the rec center and Center Park with another playground (not fenced in but well removed from the parking lot and street) is just down the road! Bathrooms can be found within the recreation center.
Basil Marella Park
975 English Rd, Rochester, NY 14616
Adjacent to the older playground, is the newly built, fenced in, inclusive playground. This barrier free section of the park was erected in August 2021 and showcases a We-Go-Round, sensory center and We-Go-Swing (one of the first in the country!). This play area is fenced in but not gated, with two openings, one to the tennis court and one entrance. Both openings have a latching gate. The bathrooms at Basil Marella have also been adapted to include more inclusive features. The playground was built in partnership with the Town of Greece and Endless Highway.
Pardee Play Area
113 Pardee Rd, Rochester, NY 14609
Pardee Park can be found within a neighborhood and is not heavily populated. The playground is fenced in (with an opening for the entrance) and has a grassy area in the back for running and picnics. There is also a variety of swings to meet many ages and abilities. There are no bathrooms onsite.
Bristol Play Area
107 Bristol Ave Irondequoit, NY 14617
Bristol Tot Lot is fully fenced in and gated and not heavily populated. There is room to run and swings for all ages and abilities. The playground was designed for children 2-12 years old. There is a cute train car that kids can play in as well as a tunnel and slides. There is a bench, a picnic table and some open green space. There are no bathrooms here.
Joshua Park
Titus Ave, Irondequoit, NY 14617
Located behind the Wegmans on Titus Ave, the enclosed and padded play surface has a variety of structures to please a wide range of ages. The smaller play structures here are really adorable and great for even the crawers of the family. There is other “stations” nearby better suited for older kids. This is probably the largest fenced in playground in the Rochester area complete with several separate playground structures. soccer field and track. Just note, the fence is not gated and there is an opening further down the track for a walking path.
Sadie’s Place
75 Wahl Rd, Irondequoit, NY 14609
The park is almost entirely fenced in (minus the entrance). There are two large play structures, perfect for toddlers through pre-teens! There aren’t any swings and little shade so pack the sunhats. Though fenced in, there is still plenty of space to move around and play. Note, There is not a parking lot here.
South Bristol Community Park
6500 Gannett Hill Rd, Naples, NY 14512
This is a micro playground and is fully fenced in and gated. It’s a great fit for the little ones and just down the road from Ontario County Park. The playground is for children age 6 and under. No pets allowed here.
