Baker Park has a very fun playground with swings and many different climbing and balance structures for older kids. Aside from the variety of features there is also soccer fields, tennis courts, seasonal bathrooms, walking paths and a story walk. The story walk changes on a monthly basis and is on a path good for strollers, bikes and scooters! This park is in close proximity to the Richard P Outhouse Park just around the corner. Bring a lunch and spend the day in Canandaigua, you will love it!

The Playground

Baker Park has much to offer in the ways of a variety of equipment for young and old. There is a large rock wall, lots of “stepping stone” activities, baby swings, typical swings, monkey bars and more. There are tall slides and short slides to make everyone happy! Next to the playground there is an open air pavilion with seasonal restrooms and picnic tables. The story path is just a short walk away!

The Story walk

This story path stretches across a 1/3 mile loop at Frank Baker Park in Canandaigua. It is stroller and bike friendly! The loop can be found in front of the parking lot. The story changes often so keep coming back!

The Little Free Library

Don’t forget to pick up a fresh book at the LFL! The new addition to the park is near the pavilion and you can always find a great book for bedtime or a car ride.
