The Playground
Kershaw Park is a lovely area to stroll the lake. There are wide paths, plenty of benches and picnic tables and a small playground to break apart the stroll.
When you are ready for a “cool” break you can cross the road and almost directly across from the playground is Scoops Ice Cream.

The Beach
Kershaw Park has a beach with lifeguards on duty and a spacious bathhouse. The cost for non-residents is $5 per adult and $2 per child (ages 6-18). There is no charge for children under six years old. This is also the only location that has a nearby seasonal restroom open to the public. For information regarding beach conditions, contact the Kershaw Bath House 585-396-5082 or check their website for details.
Dogs are not allowed in the beach or bathhouse area of Kershaw Park.
Be on the lookout for one of the Horses on Parade! The horse is a beautiful homage to the town of Canandaigua and makes for a fun family photo!

The Ice Cream
Hankering for some good ice cream? Head across the street from the playground and find Scoops! This great stop is open seven days a week to keep you coming back for more. Check out their website to see all the flavors offered!
