100 Eyer Park, East Rochester, NY 14445
? Take Me There
Legion Eyer park is tucked away from the road and neighboring homes of East Rochester. Therefore, this is a quiet playground often used when the shelters are reserved for events. The playground has baby swings and typical swings, a single slide, a climbing structure and a teeter totter. Though the playground is far from the road, there is a creek within close proximity of the playground.
The hiking trail can be found at the top of the hill along the railroad tracks. If coming from the parking lot nearest the playground, there is a big uphill climb to get to this trail. The hiking trail does not loop around and leads to various neighborhoods and road sides. Therefore, this path might best be enjoyed as a short stroll to look over the bridge, spot some trains and eventually turn around before visiting the playground.
This is a great spot for a party! With the two options of the open air pavilion and the lodge, you can find a spot that works with your budget. The horseshoe pit, volleyball court and playground provide plenty of opportunities for guests. The rental fee of the Quinzi Lodge lodge is $150 for residents and $200 for non residents. The pavilion is $75 for residents and $100 for non residents.
