SARA

Founder

Hi! I’m Sara! Prior to starting Rochester’s Playbook (Formerly known as Rochacha Mama), I studied photography at RIT, Early Education at Roberts Wesleyan and worked as a Special Education Teacher at Holy Childhood. I am now working from home growing Rochester’s Playbook and homeschooling my two kids (a boy and a girl!)

We love our city and getting out to play! I especially love finding activities for the family that are off the beaten path. Since moving to Rochester over 10 years ago, I have lived in an apartment in Henrietta, rented a room in Chili, crashed on couch for a summer in Spencerport and slept in a closet on Alexander. When life started to settle down we rented in the North Winton area and eventually landed in East Rochester where we raised our children for 4 years. We finally found our home in the Finger Lakes region but I cherish every chapter spent around Rochester.

Administrator

I’m Kim and I live in Shortsville with my husband, two children and senior cat, Instigator.  Originally I am from Utica, NY and moved to Rochester in 1996.  I have lived all over the area before we settled here.   I’ve lived in the Henrietta, 19th Ward, Ogden, Webster and now on the outskirts of the ROC.  By day- I’m at home with the kiddos and by night- I settle into my evening job as a nationally certified American Sign Language Interpreter working with patients and providers in different medical facilities all over the US and Canada.  When the weather is great my kids and I go to many playgrounds and hiking trails and simply enjoy the outdoors.  I’m glad to be a part of the team!

KILEY

Social Media Manager & City Play Expert

Hi! I’m Kiley! I’m married with three small kids! We moved from Indiana to Rochester in the summer of 2016 and haven’t run out of areas to explore yet! We started out living in a loft apartment in center city and now live in the 19th Ward which, in our opinion, is the best neighborhood in the world! We most love exploring playgrounds and libraries, but we’re coming around to the more outdoorsy stuff! We LOVE the city and I can’t wait to show you some of it’s hidden gems!
