Children’s Section

There are 4 sections of play within the Pittsford Community Library. The main area with an immersive tree centerpiece holds the computers and ipads. This section then leads into another room with several picture books, a train table, play mirror, cars and more. This is the most popular spot for play within this library!

There is another room within the Library where story times are held. When not in use, there are a handful of toys in the room offering a calm and low stimulation area for kids looking for a quieter space to explore.

Keep your eye out for the secret play room in an upper level. Kids love discovering this spot! Also in the children’s section is a toddler size sink and toilet!

Story Garden

Head straight through the children’s section to access the story garden. Here you will find musical instruments and plenty of seating. This area is entirely enclosed so kids can read or play without worry. Grab a coffee from the Starbucks within the building and enjoy the fresh air! Please note, the Story garden is seasonal and weather dependent.
