Located at the top of Keuka Lake, Red Jacket Park offers a beautiful spot to seek shade, visit a playground and cool off in the lake. This park is about an hour drive from the City of Rochester but makes for a great stop if exploring Penn Yan for the day. Consider stopping by Oak Hill Bulk Foods and the Spotted Duck while in the area!

The Playground
This playground is in great shape! It is partially shaded and has something for everyone. There is inclusive play equipment here such as an adaptive swing, an inclusive spinner, hammock, dome and teeter totter. However, the surface is all mulch making it difficult to navigate with wheelchairs.
Along with the inclusive equipment, this playground has two sections – An area for older kids and a small structure for toddlers. The Older kid area features monkey bars and several climbing obstacles as well as an interactive music board and bongos!
The toddler structure is simple and unique with an “ABC” stairway! It also has small stairs and a miniature slide. Note, the playground is located between the parking lot and lake and therefore requires your constant supervision. Though the playground is Lake-view, it is a good distance away.
Seasonal bathrooms are located directly adjacent to the playground. Though Indian Pines Park can be seen from this playground, it is not accessible by foot but is a short drive away.
The Beach
There is a small beach just beyond the playground at Red Jacket Park. This beach is perfect for little ones wanting to splash in the water. Swimming is open when Lifeguard is on duty. Dogs are not allowed in the beach area.
