Ridgewood Park would be a good location for a family picnic. There is lots of wide open spaces to run and a baseball field and pavilion near the playground.

The Playground
At Ridgewood Park the playground has standard equipment as well as swings near it. The playground equipment is older but still in good working condition. There are baby swings and typical swings here as well as a climbing slide and short side by side slides. There is an open air pavilion with picnic tables but the playground is in direct sun, bring your sunblock! The one nice thing about this park is its set back from the road and it is on a dead end street. The one negative there are no on site restrooms at this location.
