Rotary park is often a less populated playground as it is well hidden and further down Main Street. The park is connected to the Zebulon Hiking trail which will bring you to Harry Allen Park, across from the Mendon Library. Rotary Park has two soccer fields, a volleyball court and a pavilion available for reservations.

The Playground
The playground is far away from the main road and the parking lot does not see much traffic. It has a unique climbing wall and a variety of swing options. This is a Bears Playground though it is not primarily wood material like many of the beloved Bears Playgrounds we see. There is also a seasonal restroom not too far from the playground.
The Hiking
You can hike from Rotary Park to Harry Allen Park using the Zebulon Norton Trial. The trail winds along the Honeoye Creek. It is fairly flat with some hills and stairs, Once you reach the road, cross the street and head towards the Rabbit Room to continue on the path. The one way walk to Harry Allen Park is about 3/4 mile. Look out for Poison Ivy!
The Water
There are a lot of fishing spots along the creek. There are some points for creek access when the water level is low and you can reach the water edge by simple heading straight through the parking lot directly across the playground. As this is heavily used as a fishing spot, water shoes are recommended since fishing hooks could be lost in the water. Stear clear of the poison ivy!
