Take Me There
Playground #1
This is the largest and newest of the 3 playgrounds. It is padded and wheelchair accessible with several large ramps up the play structure. There are musical instruments scattered throughout and a roller slide! The surface is padded and entirely wheel friendly. This playground is sure to entertain and is found toward the back of the park.

Playground #2
Located behind the town lodge, this quaint playground has a tandem swing, ride on ladybug and smaller structures for the little ones. This is a great spot for family reunions and parties.

Playground #3
This playground is located near an open air pavilion. A second tandem swing can be found here as well as typical swings, baby swings and an adaptive swing. The playground is a good distance from the road with lots of green space surrounding. This spot is known to host many gatherings as well. Note: the parking and bathrooms are a good distance away from the pavilion and playground.

The Splash Pad
The splash pad at Sweden Town park is unique with moving parts everywhere! kids can spin the various fountains to create different patterns from the water. Since there are moving parts as well as two “falling bucket” features, the water output can be unpredictable. There is plenty of seating and an open air pavilion located perfectly between the splash pad and playground. Bathrooms are a short walk away. This splash pad is adjacent to playground #1, is further down into the park. As you enter John Henlon Parkway keep driving until you see the splash pad!

The Skate Park
There is a large skate park located behind the splash pad and playground #1. Only Skate boards and in line skates are allowed on the skate surface. The area is entirely fenced in and open 8:00 am to sundown daily.

The Hiking
Sweden town park is expansive. Along with three playgrounds, there are hiking trails with disc golf. The trail pictured below is accessible from Playground #2, located behind the Lodge. This trail and disc gold course is very well maintained. There are rock piles everywhere and you may spot some unique rock structures along the way! The trail is flat and short, making this an easy walk for all ages. Keep an eye out for poison ivy!

The Venue
Sweden Town Park hosts a beautiful lodge with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a nearby gazebo. The gazebo has two rocking benches and overlooks the pond. Located behind the lodge is a playgrounds and hiking trail with disc golf course. The lodge has heating and air conditioning as well as a kitchen.
