There is plenty to do and unlimited opportunities to connect with nature in all seasons. Bring a picnic lunch and spend the day. Dogs are not allowed on the fairy trail and in the Wild Wings areas. The typical playground, hiking trails and Wild Wings Facilities are driving distance from one another.

Northampton Park is a Monroe County Park that encompasses Springdale Farm and the new Alpine Adventure Zone! If heading to the farm, the playground near Springdale Farm is the first thing you see upon entering the parking lot but there is so much more! Check back here for details regarding the farm as they develop with the ongoing changes of the pandemic. Note, dogs are allowed at Northampton Park but not within Springdale Farm.

Here is a small family farm market with much to do. Keep an eye out for the fairy house scavenger hunt where kids can win a mini pumpkin. There’s also donkeys on site and a play area! The farm is open 7 days a week during the fall season and pumpkins range from $0.50 – $5.00.

Here’s a fun place to go and it’s off the beaten path! This hidden gem is located in North Rose, New York and you can easily pass by it if you aren’t on the lookout. The path itself is an elevated bridge so it is easy to navigate with a stroller. Bring your camera there’s a lot of wildlife for you to observe!

A hidden gem- Mertensia is a peaceful, secluded park with a quiet playground and beautiful creek. Access to the creek is just a short walk from the trailhead. The park also has a great sledding hill in the winter as well as basketball, tennis courts and soccer and baseball fields.
