Highland is a vast park with ice skating, festivals, hiking and a year-round conservatory. Near Highland Ave and Meadowbrook Rd, you can find an all natural playground. On the other side of the park is a second playground near the Lamberton Conservatory. Also be sure to find the sunken garden!

The typical playground, hiking trails and Wild Wings Facilities are driving distance from one another.

Ellison is a very large park right outside our city. Aside from the playground, the park features access to the Irondequoit Creek, several athletic fields, tennis courts, Fort Schuyler replica, sledding hills and a legal off-leash dog park. Bathrooms, pavilions, grills, hiking and fishing can all be found within the park.

Northampton Park is a Monroe County Park that encompasses Springdale Farm and the new Alpine Adventure Zone! If heading to the farm, the playground near Springdale Farm is the first thing you see upon entering the parking lot but there is so much more! Check back here for details regarding the farm as they develop with the ongoing changes of the pandemic. Note, dogs are allowed at Northampton Park but not within Springdale Farm.
