Northampton Park is a Monroe County Park that encompasses Springdale Farm and the new Alpine Adventure Zone! If heading to the farm, the playground near Springdale Farm is the first thing you see upon entering the parking lot but there is so much more! Check back here for details regarding the farm as they develop with the ongoing changes of the pandemic. Note, dogs are allowed at Northampton Park but not within Springdale Farm.

Helmer Nature Center is owned by the West Irondequoit school district and is utilized for an outdoor classroom. That said, the trails are open to the public year round, dawn to dusk. There are many educational opportunities here.
Here’s a fun place to go and it’s off the beaten path! This hidden gem is located in North Rose, New York and you can easily pass by it if you aren’t on the lookout. The path itself is an elevated bridge so it is easy to navigate with a stroller. Bring your camera there’s a lot of wildlife for you to observe!

This is a micro playground and is fully fenced in and gated. It’s a great fit for the little ones and just down the road from Ontario County Park. The playground is for children age 6 and under.
