Sandy Bottom Beach park offers a lovely day at the beach on Honeoye Lake. Near the beach are two quaint playgrounds with a good mix of sun and shade. Enjoy the lake views and the wildlife along the hiking trails. The park is located at the north end of Honeoye Lake which is off County Road 36 (West Lake Road). The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.

Not to be confused with Ridge Park, the main attraction of Ridgecrest Park is its Splash Pad and Skate Park. There is plenty of parking and shaded picnic tables. Ridgecrest’s playground and splash pad is most enjoyed by the younger kids, though the park also has a basketball court and baseball diamond.

This is a beautiful playground near the South Wedge. There is a lot of open space for running around as well as unique and fun structures to play on. There is also picnic tables and grills. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial park is an Industrial style playground found with the city of Rochester. The playground features a single fountain “splash pad” to cool off in after climbing its unique structures. Though this playground is geared toward older children, it can be fun for kids of all ages. There is plenty to do around this playground including ice skating in the winter and the year-round museum of play and play walk. The park also hosts the beloved Roc Holiday Village in December.
