Northampton Park is a Monroe County Park that encompasses Springdale Farm and the new Alpine Adventure Zone! If heading to the farm, the playground near Springdale Farm is the first thing you see upon entering the parking lot but there is so much more! Check back here for details regarding the farm as they develop with the ongoing changes of the pandemic. Note, dogs are allowed at Northampton Park but not within Springdale Farm.

Long Acre Farm is a must visit every fall (or spring or summer!) It is open May through October and boasts NY’s longest running corn maze, a gift shop, ice cream stand, winery, summer concerts, free activities for the kids and extended activities with the purchase of an admission bracelet.

There is so much to be explored at Corbett Park. Along with the playground, there is a pavilion with picnic tables and grills and a walking path to a pond. There are large fields far from the road for running and frisbee as well as views of the Erie Canal and some calisthenics equipment further beyond the playground. There are no bathroom facilities at the park but the village of Brockport is just minutes away. The parking lot can be found off of Clark St.

The Apple Shed is a quaint farm market that has U-Pick apples and pumpkins. There is a lot to do including a corn pit for the kids to play in (Must be 10 or under), goats to feed, a small playground and hard cider tasting from Old Goat Cidery.

Pick ‘n Patch is a popular spot to buy pumpkins and establish family traditions. The farm has a variety of activities available- some are free and some come with a wristband purchase. They are open for summer and fall activities.

Baker Park has a very fun playground with swings and many different climbing and balance structures for older kids. Aside from the variety of features there is also soccer fields, tennis courts, walking paths and a story walk. The story walk changes on a monthly basis and is on a path good for strollers, bikes and scooters! This park is in close proximity to the Richard P Outhouse Park just around the corner. Bring a lunch and spend the day in Canandaigua, you will love it!
