This is a fun seasonal trail with flower enthusiasts in mind. The Trail of Hope itself is not long but there is so many little pockets of information you will be there awhile seeing everything. The layout is rustic but the paths are wide and flat for anyone who needs wheel access. The path is a designated Forever Wild trail- check out their site for more wheel accessible trails!

The Trail
This community trail was established in 2012. While it is mainly a beautiful flower garden, there is also a community vegetable garden and lots of fun to explore with children. There are different themes once you venture more into the woods. Follow the yellow brick road to find your way!

Once you go into the shaded part of the trail you will come across Wegman’s Passport pole to mark for your book and fun mini scenes which talk about the surrounding community. The Boy Scouts have also built a lovely place to sit and enjoy the creek. Done walking around? Come back around an sit at the picnic table and enjoy the sun. Around the corner from the sitting area you will see the sunflowers, they are amazing! It’s best to go at the peak of the flower season to get the best of everything this great trail has to offer. It is a hidden gem so look for the Lyons Community Center and go to the back of the parking lot and you will find the beginning of the Trail of Hope.
