Take Me There
The Playground
This playground is tucked between the apartments bordering Tryon Park and is widely used by the community there. The playground is small with one play structure and two swings. The playground is surrounded by fields often used for baseball games. Please Note, hiking is popular at Tryon Park, however, the trail heads are located in a separate area off of Tryon Park Road. The nearest parking lot is for apartment residents only. The nearest public parking lot is located at 99 Loudisa Drive. A bathroom shelter can be found near this parking lot.

The Hiking
The trails here are often used by experienced cyclists. For hikers, there are several steep hills to keep the trek interesting. The trails are not stroller friendly and can be difficult in areas. With the creek beds, flowering trees, and various trials there is opportunity to enjoy much wildlife.
