The Hiking

This is a great area to observe birds, so bring along your binoculars! The park includes hiking trails, a community building and picnic shelter. About half a mile of the trail is covered in boardwalk. The path is not wheel friendly. After heavy rains, it can be difficult to cross the boardwalk, and the trail can get extremely muddy. This is a there and back trail so you can make the hike as long as you want at White Brook Nature Area. If you walk to the field and loop all the way around and head back to the parking lot, the trail is a total of about one and a half miles. Wear rain boots and be careful of poison ivy once you get into the wooded portion of the trail. Seasonal restrooms are available.
